So you want to create your own photoshop brushes ha? creating a photoshop brush is really easy in this tutorial we will be using a photograph to create our brush, there are millions of free images on the web that you can use to make photoshop brushes or you can even scan images and make them brushes, making brushes is as easy as opening up photoshop the software below is the image we are going to use in this tutorial

Now the first step is start adobe photoshop and open the picture above , Ctrl + A Select everything then go to Edit > Define Brush preset as shown in the image below

Now it will ask you to give a name for your now brush just Type the name you desire and hit ok as shown in the image below

Now if you select the brush tool and scroll down you should see your new brush included in the brushes list and you’re done , see the picture below showing our new brush

Note: whenever you want to create new brushes always find high resolutions images and sometimes you may want to just use a part of an image and to do that you would need to click on the select tool and select the part of the image you want to use and remove the rest of the image and repeat the steps above
